COMPLAINT ALLEGATION SUMMARY:
Beta Bionics is a commercial-stage medical device company that offers an automated insulin delivery system for the treatment of diabetes, known as the iLet Bionic Pancreas insulin pump (“iLet”).

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that: (1) the FDA has raised numerous serious issues with the iLet device, including that the device was malfunctioning and dosing patients with dangerously high levels of insulin; (2) thousands of patients filed complaints, including hundreds who experienced life-threatening events requiring significant medical intervention that the company failed to timely report to the FDA; and (3) as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ statements about the company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.

WHY DID BETA BIONICS’S STOCK DROP?
On January 8, 2026, Beta Bionics reported an unexpected miss on new iLet patient starts, causing investors to quickly connect the underperformance with more serious undisclosed issues with the device. A few days later, the Capitol Forum research thinktank issued a report based on its own investigation, revealing that iLet was malfunctioning and dosing users with dangerously high levels of insulin. Four days after that report. Capitol Forum issued another report exposing how the company’s back-filed patient complaints involved hundreds of serious cases involving hospitalization.

Then, on January 30, 2026, Beta Bionics disclosed that it had received a warning letter from the FDA concerning issues far beyond what Beta Bionics had previously disclosed, including serious issues with the company’s quality management system and failure to take corrective action in response to prior filings.

On February 24, 2026, the full truth was revealed when the FDA publicly released its warning letter detailing violations and Beta Bionics’ failure to correct them. The FDA not only outlined serious violations related to the iLet device itself, but it also explicitly rejected Beta Bionics’ framing of regulators’ concerns. As a result of these disclosures, the price of Beta Bionics’ stock fell significantly.

THE LEAD PLAINTIFF PROCESS:
The Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 permits any investor who purchased or acquired Beta Bionics common stock during the Class Period to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in the Beta Bionics class action lawsuit. A lead plaintiff is a representative party that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. In order to be appointed lead plaintiff, the Court must determine that the class member’s claim is typical of the claims of other class members, and that the class member will adequately represent the class. Your ability to share in any recovery is not, however, affected by the decision whether or not to serve as a lead plaintiff. Filling out the online form above or communicating with any counsel is not necessary to participate or share in any recovery achieved in this case. Any member of the purported class may move the court to serve as a lead plaintiff through counsel of his/her choice, or may choose to do nothing and remain an inactive class member.
