Specifically, Kessler Topaz is investigating whether certain health care companies have and continue to deny compensation for all time worked.
Alleged Unlawful Conduct
Visiting nurses are required to report for work prior to their scheduled shift to receive a shift report from the departing nurses. Kessler Topaz is investigating whether health care companies have not compensated employees for time worked in advance of a scheduled shift. Visiting nurses who report to work ahead of their scheduled shift may be entitled to compensation under applicable wage and hour laws. Kessler Topaz is investigating claims against the following companies:

- Amedisys, Inc.
- LHC Group
