Visiting Nurse Compensation

Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP (“Kessler Topaz”) is investigating potential wage and hour class action lawsuits against certain health care companies and on behalf of visiting nurses. Alleged Unlawful Conduct

Visiting nurses are required to report for work prior to their scheduled shift to receive a shift report from the departing nurses. Kessler Topaz is investigating whether health care companies have not compensated employees for time worked in advance of a scheduled shift. Visiting nurses who report to work ahead of their scheduled shift may be entitled to compensation under applicable wage and hour laws. Kessler Topaz is investigating claims against the following companies:

• Kindred HealthCare
• Amedisys, Inc.
• LHC Group
