Mariama received her law degree from Penn State Dickinson Law. While in law school, she was an active member of the advocacy programs. She was a competing member of the National Moot Court Team and the National Mock Trial team. She also interned with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in the Bureau of Consumer Protection and the Community Justice Project. Mariama also served as an Academic Tutor for Property Law, a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis, and a Pardon Coach for the Pardon Project.
