Case Background:
A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (“Rocket Lab”) (NASDAQ: RKLB) securities between November 12, 2024, and February 25, 2025, inclusive (the “Class Period”).

The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects.  Specifically, Defendants misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Rocket Lab’s plans for three barge landing tests were significantly delayed; (2) a critical potable water problem was not scheduled to be fixed until January 2026, which delayed preparation of the launch pad; (3) in light of the foregoing problems, there was a substantial risk that Rocket Lab’s Neutron rocket would not launch in mid-2025; (4) Neutron’s only contract for Neutron was made at a discount with an unreliable partner; and (5) as a result, Defendants’ statements about the company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
 

What is a Lead Plaintiff?

A lead plaintiff is a representative party that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. In order to be appointed lead plaintiff, the Court must determine that the class member’s claim is typical of the claims of other class members, and that the class member will adequately represent the class.
