Job Description

KTMC seeks an Attorney with experience implementing and overseeing all aspects of e-discovery for our firm.


  • Implement and oversee e-discovery program, policies, and procedures, including a Rule 26(f) Checklist and ESI-related protocols
  • Develop and maintain guidelines and training programs surrounding the e-Discovery lifecycle for attorneys and legal support staff
  • Provide consultation with respect to, or lead and/or participate in e-Discovery related aspects of Fed. R. Civ. P 26(f) conferences for a variety of cases
  • Provide consultation with respect to, or lead and/or participate in the crafting of an ESI search and/or production protocol for a variety of cases
  • Provide consultation with respect to, or lead and/or participate in drafting and negotiating the e-Discovery aspects of discovery requests pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 34 for a variety of cases
  • Assist with e-Discovery motions for a variety of cases
  • Assist with e-discovery focused Rule 30(b)(6) depositions
  • Work among a team of prestigious attorneys


  • Candidates should have at least 5-7 years of experience managing e-Discovery processes, preferably with exposure to class action litigation
  • Current involvement or relationships with e-Discovery-oriented groups preferred
  • Must have commitment to ongoing education in the constantly evolving world of e-Discovery law and technology, including technology assisted review
  • Must have ability to work independently with a minimum of oversight; creative thinking encouraged
  • Ability to work in a professional manner and manage fast-paced environment with a consistently calm, positive demeanor
  • Proficiency in or advanced knowledge of industry standard e-Discovery review and production platforms, Word, Excel, Outlook
