Class action activity is on the rise in the US where some European institutions have received big payouts. 

Gail Moss, from Investment & Pensions Europe, finds that many pension funds are unaware they might be losing money by not making claims. Darren Check was interviewed on the topic and is quoted as saying, "Institutions generally had been reluctant to get involved, but these types of cases have had a lot more publicity in the past few years.
