The settlement of this federal securities fraud class action lawsuit is on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired View, Inc. (“View”) (formerly OTC: VIEWQ) f/k/a CF Finance Acquisition Corp. II (“CF II”) securities (1) pursuant and/or traceable to the proxy statement/prospectus (the “Proxy Statement”) as part of a registration statement (collectively, the “De-SPAC Registration Statement”) that was declared effective on or around February 17, 2021 ; (2) between November 30, 2020 and May 10, 2022, inclusive (the “Class Period”); and/or (3) held CF II common stock as of January 27, 2021 (the “Record Date”) that were entitled to vote to approve the business combination between View and CF II as set forth in the Proxy Statement. 

View agreed to pay $11,000,000 to resolve this class action lawsuit alleging the company and certain of its officers and/or directors violated federal securities laws by making false or misleading statements.

What’s the status of the Settlement? 
On November 6, 2025, the Court granted Final Approval of the Class Action Settlement. This action has concluded. 

Who can file a claim?
The settlement class includes all persons or entities who:

  • Purchased or otherwise acquired View securities pursuant and/or traceable to the De-SPAC Registration Statement; 
  • Acquired View  and/or CF II securities between November 30, 2020 and May 10, 2022, inclusive; and/or 
  • Held CF II common stock as of the Record Date that were entitled to vote to approve the business combination between View and CF II as set forth in the Proxy Statement. 


How much is the Settlement Payment?
Pro rata payment: The total settlement fund is $11,000,000. The amount each class member receives will depend on several factors, including:

  • The number of valid claims submitted
  • The number of shares purchased and sold
  • The dates of purchase and sale
  • The price paid for the shares and the price received upon sale
