Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired shares of Sonus Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONS) (“Sonus” or the “Company”) between October 23, 2014 through March 24, 2015, inclusive (the "Class Period").

According to the complaint, Sonus provides networked solutions for communications service providers and enterprises. Its products include session border controllers (SBC) that address the network requirements for small, medium, and large businesses, as well as for communications service providers; and open services switches for converting various types of voice signals into Internet protocol (IP) packets and transmitting those IP packets over a data network.

The complaint alleges that during the Class Period, defendants that  Sonus made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) the Company would be unable to close certain orders in the first quarter of 2015; and (2) the Company was experiencing longer decision cycles from its customers.

When the true details entered the market, the suit claims that investors suffered damages.

If you are a member of the class described above, you may no later than June 5, 2015, move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff of the class, if you so choose.

A lead plaintiff is a representative party that acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.  In order to be appointed lead plaintiff, the Court must determine that the class member's claim is typical of the claims of other class members, and that the class member will adequately represent the class.  Your ability to share in any recovery is not, however, affected by the decision whether or not to serve as a lead plaintiff. Any member of the purported class may move the court to serve as a lead plaintiff through counsel of their choice, or may choose to do nothing and remain an inactive class member.
