Jeep Cherokee Parking Brake Investigation

Kessler Topaz is investigating potential claims against Stellantis North America f/k/a FCA US LLC f/k/a Chrysler Group LLC related to potential defects in certain Jeep Cherokee (2014-2020) vehicles. Specifically, Kessler Topaz is investigating reports that dangerous water leaks may suddenly activate the electronic parking brake, causing the vehicle to come to an abrupt stop while driving.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more than 1.3 million model year 2014-2020 Jeep Cherokees are under investigation following 80 complaints about the parking brakes suddenly engaging while the vehicle was parked or while driving. Kessler Topaz is concerned that this defect creates a significant safety risk to the driver and vehicle occupants.
