Amanda Trask, an associate of the Firm, is an experienced litigator who concentrates her practice in the area of complex consumer litigation.  Amanda prosecutes actions on behalf of consumers asserting claims against banks, insurance companies and other institutions for violations of both state and federal law including claims under RESPA, RICO and state causes of action challenging unfair, deceptive practices with a focus on bringing claims against financial institutions for unlawful practices relating to mortgage lending.

Amanda has successfully participated in litigation which resulted in multi-million dollar settlements that helped put an end to major lending banks’ reinsurance of borrowers’ private mortgage insurance in violation of RESPA which brought relief to hundreds of thousands of borrowers and contributed to litigation that helped change force-placed insurance practices.
